It'll put you on the street and you can turn to face the house and move in and out with ease.

(JH)Joe E. Plus when I was eleven if I heard words like that I'd have been a scared little boy. And I was eleven right before we moved here to Cincinnati. I lived at 319 E. Short St. Baltimore Ohio. (pop. @4,500)862-4320. And I havent lived there since 1975-76. It's a little over 2 hours from here. Our little house is gone, a new one was built. Almost just as dumpy. But the barn was still there. (I'll get to that.) I've been back a couple of times to watch the High School play football. Great little town that still closes all the shops to go to the games. But I did have many similar nights in my childhood. we actually lived on a one acre farm. fully equipped with an actual bomb shelter turned into a chicken coop that we played King of the Hill on. We also had a barn, the fire department came out when I tried to burn it down (on accident) playing with G.I.Joes, matches and gasoline. That barn was our fort as we rifled walnuts at each other. We throw those or hedge apples until winter time when we got our snow. BTW, I remember that blizzard you all got in 85. That was the year I married my wife and she being from San Antonio spoke of nothing else. She was very disappointed that she was not there at that time. It was tough to leave my friends and move here. But eventually got over it. Started a new school where the girls did get much less yucky every year and made even better friends than I thought possible.

Thanks for another great piece. I'm going to your google earth link now and check out your old crib.

Peace out, feenofeenohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07483769284197614547noreply@blogger.com
